Recent Projects

Acting for a global contracting company in an arbitration relating to a multi-use building with a unique design. The dispute involved substantial counterclaims against the contractor in relation to complex technical façade issues.

Acting for an international contracting company in a claim valuing AED 600 million commenced against the developer on a major Dubai project in the Dubai Courts. This involved numerous expert meetings conducted in Arabic, which she attended with local lawyers. This claim also involved the employer attempting to call the contractor’s bonds, which required working with local UAE lawyers to obtain emergency attachment orders.

Acting for a client in an ICC arbitration in relation to a claim related to a significant public building and involving complex delay and electrical issues.

Representing a sub-contractor of a major tower project in Dubai in an ICC arbitration claim. The dispute revolved around complex pay-when-paid issues under UAE law.

Acting for a UK-based contractor in relation to several Dispute Adjudication Board proceedings arising from an infrastructure project requiring complex electrical works. The claims included delay-related claims, high-volume complex variations and disruption claims.
