Sirena has represented clients in arbitration proceedings and in the UAE Courts, using her Arabic speaking skills to assist international clients.

Acting for an international contracting company in a claim valuing AED 600 million commenced against the developer on a major Dubai project in the Dubai Courts. This involved numerous expert meetings conducted in Arabic, which she attended with the local advocates.

Successfully defending a client in an ICC arbitration against a claim related to a significant public building and involving complex delay and electrical issues.
Successfully representing a sub-contractor of a major tower project in Dubai in an ICC arbitration claim. The dispute revolved around complex pay-when-paid issues under UAE law.
